Do those shocks ever need cleaning, lubing, ect, on an 07 heritage?

Since you appear to believe dot 4 bikes are better than dot 5, can I switch my 99 Harley from dot 5 to dot 4?

I run an A1 cycles vented dipstick on my street glide ran it 1500 miles pulled the air cleaner no oily blow back in the air cleaner or on the throttle body where before I had a small amount of oil in the air cleaner solved the blowback issue.

Hi Doc, great video as always thank you for that, I removed my clutch as part of an inner primary removal due to a shift shaft seal leak and drive belt change on my 07 ultra classic 96 cuin There were chipped spline teeth on the transmission side of the clutch internal splines so i will be replacing that but ive heard that there have been some mods done by Harley to the inner primary bearing I believe. Can you say if there will be any issues, if i request the original part numbers for this job, not quite jiving with newer or post mod parts or updates from HD, would be good to know in advance if there could be issues - thanks Doc

When he says the any aftermarket add-ons bolt on plug-in plays… Will void your warranty unless it’s a screaming beagle he is wrong. Supreme Court and Congress found many years ago. The aftermarket parts cannot and should not and will not void your warranty. Also, Harley just got out of a lawsuit not very many years ago over the same bullshit and lost.

I let my Buell warm up till engine sounds right. There isn't a noticeable change in rpm Around 2-3 minutes in the cold 40-50 degree mornings. Maybe a minute if 80's or warmer. If I don't let it warm up it's jerky. And have an uphill stop and turn not far from home. So warming it up is more for me than engine.

So my dad put a lowering kit and extended forks on his FXSTDI the bike leans even when I have a piece of 2x4 under it one day I was at work came for lunch break and it seemed like it was leaning further than when I parked so I went to go get a closer look and the kickstand sank into the pavement

Why use a parking brake at all OR, that much pressure ?

If you have a 3D printer there's a bunch printable models available on line. You probably would want to use ABS or PETG, I don't think PLA would stand up to the heat very well, it may be OK for a cruiser or sport bike, but I wouldn't trust PLA to hold a heavy touring bike. Knew you were legit as soon as you called it a jiffy stand.
